Chapter Lead

My wife and I bought our house in 2019, just before the COVID boom meant housing prices doubled. If we wouldn't have happened to pull the trigger then, affording a home would have been difficult or impossible for us. Unfortunately, that's the case for too many in Utah and Logan. Being a few years later means you're paying far more. Now, with my young kids, I know that unless we make smart policy changes today, they may have little choice but to leave Utah if they ever hope to afford a home.
I grew up in Richmond, went to USU, and now live in Logan. I've been around the world, and Cache County is hard to beat.
If you want to move the world, use a long lever. Because everyone needs a home, housing is one of the most important levers for lifting people up. (PS: We would love to grow--drop us a note! hello@loganyimby.org)
